Sometimes my husband does horrible, horrible things. I mean, like some
But then he surprises me on my birthday with a trip to Disney World, and 88% of it is forgiven.
Recaptured the innocence of youth, experienced unparalleled joy, weather was like basking in the glow and warmth of heavenly light, blah blah blah. Most importantly: there was a Giordano's within walking distance of the hotel.
Giordano's is a Chicago institution; supposedly the home of the stuffed pizza for which the city is famous. We've been to the OG in Chicago, but apparently they've franchised throughout Illinois and Florida. So we were psyched to have happened upon a location while in Orlando.

Look at me, a few posts into this i finally figued out how to "Follow" you! This technology stuff is too tough for me to keep up on. Anywhooo...
I would have to agree that the most magical place on earth is at ANY Giordano's. Lets put the cheese aside because the picture(ill be it horrible) speaks for itself. The crust on this amazing thing is very flaky, buttery and salty. The sauce is just the right thickness and flavor. Last and most important is the sausage is wonderful! Being the sausage king of chicago I know a good sausage and their pizza has it!!

I love this stuff! I first had this Pizza in late May when I was in town on tour with the Beach Boys for their 50th anniversary shows. HAVE MERCY, was that stuff good. I agree with you (Meghann) and Abe Froman, Chicago knows Pizza and Sausage. That pizza played the Bongos on my taste buds!
